English: When Sri Rama requested a boat to cross the Ganges, the ferryman (Kevat) did not bring it immediately. He declared: I know your secret! Everyone says that the dust of your lotus feet possesses a wondrous herb that turns objects into humans (just as the stone slab became the woman Ahalya).

English: Vibhishana said: Now I am assured of Lord Hari’s supreme grace, O Hanuman, for without divine benediction one can never meet a true saint! Because Sri Rama looked upon me with mercy, you have graciously come to grant me your blessed vision.

English: Consecrating the Shivalinga with sacred rites, Rama declared: None is dearer to Me than Lord Shiva. He who harbors enmity toward Shiva yet claims to be My devotee can never attain Me even in dreams. He who turns his back on Shankara yet aspires for My love is foolish and destined for hell.

❖Meaning & Vyakhya:

English: Rama revealed the Chariot of Righteousness (Dharmarath): Valor and fortitude are its two wheels; truth and noble conduct are its banners. Strength, wisdom, self-control, and benevolence are its four horses, harnessed by reins of forgiveness, compassion, and equanimity. Shri Ramcharitmanas: Immortal Epic of Indian Culture

Composed in 1574 CE (Samvat 1631) by Goswami Tulsidas, this monumental epic made Vedic and Upanishadic wisdom accessible to the common populace in Awadhi vernacular.

⚖️Grand Cultural Reconciliation

As noted by Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, Tulsidas represents Indian culture's greatest reconciling poet—harmonizing Shaiva and Vaishnava, knowledge (Gyana) and devotion (Bhakti), formless (Nirguna) and manifest (Saguna) divinity.

📐Kadwak Poetic Metre

The epic is structured primarily in the Kadwak metre: stanzas of Chaupai (16 matras) followed by a Doha (13+11 matras). Each Kand opens with classical Sanskrit Shloks and Sorthas providing classical elegance.

🎓Curriculum & Exam Relevance

Key episodes such as Parashuram-Lakshman Samvad (Class 10), Lakshman Murchha (Class 12), and UGC NET/TGT/PGT topics like Navadha Bhakti, Dharma-Ratha, and Ramrajya are repeatedly tested across exams.
