प्रत्यय नियम: जब किसी शब्द के अंत में "करण" प्रत्यय जुड़ता है, तो पूर्ववर्ती वर्ण पर दीर्घ "ई" की मात्रा लगती है (एक + ईकरण = एकीकरण)।
Morphological rule: When "-karan" is suffixed, the preceding vowel obligatorily lengthens to "ee" (Ek + eekaran = Ekikaran). Short "i" is wrong.
